Why should I donate?
If you're a Clan [uBp]™ member, you use resources which cost money. As many people may not be aware, money, unlike apples, does not grow on trees. Everything we do requires money, from hosting game servers, our Ventrilo server to paying for the hosting of our websites. Your donation will go towards paying off all of those expenses.
If the clan does not receive enough donations, cuts are made, and it is possible that the clan would have to be shut down. Like any organization that is based on membership we strive to keep our members happy, our options plentiful and open. Without donations we cannot continue to offer the options we currently have.
Who should I donate to?
You may donate to the clan or a particular division from the links above. If you donate to a specific game, your money will be used to pay for that game server first then, once that server is paid for, it will be used for other clan expenses until the month has been covered.
What are my donations being used for?
Donations are used for all of the following:
Providing for the Ventrilo server that allows members to communicate to one another while playing their favorite games.
Keeping the Clan [uBp]™ gaming servers up and running.
Running the clan's email server.
Paying for the maintenance and upkeep of current websites, forums and other web-based goodies.
Expanding the clan into new games, which may require additional servers and bandwidth.
Providing a fast FTP for games that require downloads for maps, patches and other resources.
If I don't have PayPal, can I still donate money?
Yes, yes you can. If you would like to send money via the US Postal Service, you can do so. Write a check (or get one of your parents to) and PM a founder or speak with one in Ventrilo to get the mailing address. If you do not have access to a checking account, you can send money via Western Union (or some other money order), which is usually very cheap to do and more secure then sending cash through the postal service.
So, Who Donates?
Usually we just have Clan [uBp]™ members donating money. From time to time, we do have public people and other clans giving us money for our help with their servers, websites or other problems. When we do get a donation, we put it into our custom-programmed management system and it will update this page automatically.
If you don't want to be recognized when you donate, please specify so and we will not let others know it was you that helped out.
